Public Preview: Conversational PII NextGen Playground in Microsoft Foundry

In public preview, Microsoft Foundry now offers a Conversational PII (ConvPII) NextGen Playground with transcript input and an API Configuration Panel, enabling developers to validate PII detection across multi-speaker dialogue before integrating the API. This update helps you test conversation-format inputs such as call center transcripts and meeting recordings, iterate on configuration settings, and assess accuracy for informal, multi-turn language. By providing an interactive environment for experimentation, the playground reduces iteration cycles and lowers the risk of shipping misconfigured PII detection into production conversational workloads. The capability targets developers building privacy-aware analytics, support automation, and compliance pipelines that rely on accurate redaction in spoken or chat-based content. Preview availability and configuration options may evolve before general availability. To get started, open the ConvPII playground in Microsoft Foundry and try a sample transcript.
