Generally Available: Publishing Microsoft Foundry agents to Microsoft 365 Copilot and Teams

Microsoft FoundryAzure · AI & machine learning

Publishing Microsoft Foundry agents to Microsoft 365 Copilot and Teams is now generally available. An agent only delivers value once it reaches the people who need it, and Foundry developers previously had no native path to make their agents operational across Microsoft 365, requiring separate deployment pipelines, bot registrations, and app manifests.

With this release you publish an agent directly into Microsoft 365 Copilot and Teams, where it becomes discoverable to end users in the surfaces where they already work. Published agents remain governed through the same Microsoft Entra and Agent 365 controls IT uses for the rest of the organization, giving admins centralized visibility over their agent fleet from day one, so distribution does not mean giving up governance. To get started, publish your Foundry agent to Microsoft 365 Copilot and Teams from the Foundry portal.
