Generally Available: Hosted agent support in the Foundry Toolkit for Visual Studio Code

The Foundry Toolkit for Visual Studio Code is now generally available with full hosted-agent support, aligned with the Hosted Agents GA release. It brings the complete hosted-agent lifecycle, create, debug, evaluate, and deploy, inside the editor, so developers move from local code to a running hosted agent without switching tools or hand-packaging builds. The toolkit integrates natively with the Microsoft Agent Framework and the Foundry SDK, keeping teams in a familiar environment while giving them a clear path from development to production. The result is a single IDE-native workflow with less friction between local development and the hosted runtime, fewer manual steps, and one place to build and ship agents. To get started, install or update the Foundry Toolkit extension in Visual Studio Code and create or deploy a hosted agent.
