HeatWave: Flexible Configuration

HeatWave now provides you with the flexibility to edit more user variables when you create or copy a configuration. For more information, see Configuration Variables.

Note

Support for variables and initVariables parameters that were used for specifying variables and their values while creating a custom configuration has now been deprecated. To learn how to specify variables and their values using the new options parameter, see Creating a Custom Configuration.

HeatWave now supports MySQL database versions 26.7.0, 9.7.2, and 8.4.11. These versions provide security and bug fixes. New DB systems are now based on version 8.4.11, by default. You can optionally select version 26.7.0 or 9.7.2 when creating a new DB system.
