Internet of Things (IoT) Performance Enhancements

Internet of Things expands Flow Runtime and Digital Twin capabilities

Internet of Things (IoT) adds these Flow Runtime and Digital Twin capabilities:

Internet of Things (IoT) introduces Flow Runtime

IoT Flow Runtimes provide an OCI-managed environment for building, deploying, and running integration flows with the integrated Node-RED editor. Manage the Flow Runtime lifecycle, configure network access and File Storage mounts, and apply managed software updates.

Internet of Things (IoT) introduces new regions and an Oracle Developer Tools connection

The Internet of Things service is now available in these additional regions. For a complete list of regional availability, see IoT API reference site. Singapore West (Singapore) region: ap-singapore-2

Internet of Things (IoT) introduces Gateways to connect devices indirectly and Select AI to query IoT data

Connect devices indirectly through a gateway and manage the telemetry in IoT without each device connecting directly.

Internet of Things (IoT) introduces domain group types Development and Production

Now you can create a new IoT domain group that uses one of the new DEVELOPMENT or PRODUCTION IoT domain group types. DEVELOPMENT: Uses fewer resources and has a higher Recovery Time Objective (RTO), making it suitable for development and testing.
