Validate GPU cluster health with Cluster Health Checks
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure introduces Cluster Health Checks (CHC) to help you identify unhealthy GPU nodes and validate cluster readiness before running AI and high-performance computing workloads. CHC provides two kinds of health checks:
- Passive checks (through Oracle Cloud Agent) evaluate GPU, driver, and network health on supported instances.
- Optional active tests (through Slurm or Kubernetes) evaluate GPUs, data transfers, and communication between nodes to identify faults and performance issues under load.
Diagnostic results and recommended actions help you investigate issues and select the appropriate remediation.
On supported Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE) clusters, you can also configure OKE's GPU host repair to act on supported health signals according to your repair policy.
For more information, see Cluster Health Checks.
