An issue has been fixed where updating the data for a self-service Explore that was created from a Google Sheets document with OAuth authentication would default to the BigQuery connection's service account credentials instead of using the user's OAuth credentials, which could cause Google Sheets API enablement or permission errors during model refresh. Looker admins now need only to enable the Google Sheets API in either the Google Cloud project that's associated with the service account or the Google Cloud project that owns the OAuth client ID credentials, depending on which authentication method is used. This feature now performs as expected.
