Apigee Emulator v2.0.2

On October 21, 2026, we released Apigee Emulator version 2.0.2.

This release upgrades the Apigee Emulator runtime to Java 21 (Eclipse Temurin JRE 21) to align local proxy development and policy execution with the production Apigee runtime, while keeping the embedded Apache Cassandra datastore pinned to Java 8. It also addresses 46 security vulnerabilities across Netty, Jackson, Apache Log4j, BouncyCastle, Apache CXF, Eclipse Jetty, and the embedded Cassandra Go standard library health-check binary.

The emulator image is available at Artifact Registry.
