Public Preview: New Azure Cosmos DB cost estimator

Plan your Azure Cosmos DB deployment with confidence. The Azure Cosmos DB cost estimator is now in public preview, giving you a fast, accurate way to model throughput, storage, regions, and capacity mode before you provision a single account. Whether you are building a new transactional app, modernizing a legacy database, or pricing out AI workloads with vector search, the estimator turns your design choices into a monthly cost projection in minutes. The pricing model reflects current Azure list rates and Microsoft's canonical vector cost methodology, so you can compare configurations, share a quote with your team, and walk into your next architecture review with a number you trust.
