Generally Available: Azure API Center now supports agent registration, agent assessment, and Git-based synchronization.

As organizations increasingly build autonomous AI agents to automate workflows and orchestrate enterprise tasks, developers need a centralized way to discover, govern, and reuse these capabilities across teams.

With this update, Azure API Center enables teams to:

• Register new agents directly into the enterprise catalog
• Automatically ingest and synchronize agents from Git repositories
• Keep agent definitions aligned with evolving source-controlled codebases
• Make production-ready agents discoverable and reusable across the organization
• Assess agent quality before catalog registration using an automated LLM-as-a-Judge framework that scores agents across safety, reliability, and behavioral completeness

Agents are becoming foundational enterprise assets capable of planning, reasoning, and executing multi-step tasks on behalf of applications and developers. By bringing them into a governed catalog, Azure API Center helps teams reduce duplication, improve reuse, and accelerate AI application development. This enables developers to confidently discover and integrate trusted agents without needing to rebuild capabilities that already exist elsewhere in the organization.
