Generally Available: Azure Functions Support for Node.js 24

Azure Functions support for Node.js 24 is now generally available.

You can now develop apps using Node.js 24 locally and deploy them to supported Azure Functions plans on Linux and Windows, including the Flex Consumption plan.

Please note that Remote Build on Flex Consumption for Node.js 24 is rolling out and will be available in all public regions in the coming week.

Retirement: Support for PowerShell 7.4 ends on November 10, 2026
Support for PowerShell 7.4 will end on November 10, 2026, please transition to PowerShell 7.6. Your Azure Function apps will continue to run, but security patches and updates will no longer be provided and customer support for PowerShell 7.4 will be discontinued.

Support for.NET 8 and.NET 9 will end on November 10, 2026. Please transition to.NET 10 by that date. Your Azure Function Apps will continue to operate, but security updates will no longer be provided, and support for.NET 8 and.NET 9 on Azure Functions will end.
