Connect Customer Outbound Campaigns adds dynamic source addresses

Amazon Connect Customer journey flows can now set the source address dynamically in the Send Communication block, so each contact is reached from a sending number or email address that matches their region or brand. The source value comes from a flow attribute or from the output of an AWS Lambda function. Dynamic source addresses work across voice, email, SMS, and WhatsApp.

A collections team running a single reminder journey can email each customer from the brand address for that customer's region and place the follow-up call from a number matching the recipient's area code. A single journey flow handles the full set of sending addresses.

Dynamic source addresses are available in journey flows in the following AWS Regions: US East (N. Virginia), US West (Oregon), Africa (Cape Town), Asia Pacific (Seoul), Asia Pacific (Singapore), Asia Pacific (Sydney), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), Canada (Central), Europe (Frankfurt), and Europe (London).
